Self-Regulatory Organisation membership — the Swiss model is the reference — delivers AML supervision through an authorised private body instead of a direct licence: SO-FIT and its peers supervise financial intermediaries below the full-licence threshold. SRO routes depend on membership standing, Swiss substance and AML fit.
A self-regulatory organisation route is usually relevant for Swiss financial intermediary or VASP-adjacent activity where AML supervision and local substance have to be credible. SKY7 checks membership standing before a buyer relies on the file.
