Payment Services covers the money-movement side of the catalogue: e-money issuers, payment institutions and MSB registrations sold as operating companies with their permissions, accounts and handover packs. The current shelf is focused on a UK FCA-authorised EMI, a Maltese authorised payment institution and a Canadian FINTRAC MSB with Bank of Canada work already submitted. These files solve different launch problems. The UK EMI is a higher-supervision e-money route, the Malta API is an EEA payment-institution file, and the Canadian MSB is a North American registration route for money services and payment activity. Compare the permission schedule, banking status, buyer fit-and-proper pack and handover conditions before treating any card as interchangeable.
A payment company changes hands with its safeguarding, banking and regulator relationship. The current shelf contains a UK FCA-authorised EMI, a Malta authorised payment institution and a Canadian FINTRAC MSB with Bank of Canada work submitted.
Each file answers a different launch question: UK e-money, Malta/EU payment-institution activity, or Canadian money-services registration. Scheme assets, banking and client-fund controls must be checked against the actual card.
SKY7 walks the safeguarding evidence, bank/provider agreements and most recent regulator correspondence before any handover timeline is treated as reliable.
Tier, venue and float questions that come up on every payment deal.
Stored balances and e-money point toward an EMI. Broader payment services without stored value can fit an authorised payment institution. Canadian money-services activity sits in the FINTRAC/RPAA registration track.
The Malta card is an EU payment-institution route. The UK EMI is a UK FCA e-money route and no longer passports into the EEA. They are not substitutes unless the buyer market plan fits.
FINTRAC registration can be faster than a full authorisation, but banking, AML controls and Bank of Canada payment-service expectations still determine whether the buyer can operate cleanly.
