The transaction package for this established Australian proprietary company documents two separately obtained AUSTRAC registrations: Virtual Asset Service Provider and Independent Remittance Dealer. The completed application history and developed AML/CTF foundations create a combined platform for virtual-asset exchange and international remittance activities. SKY7 is managing the sale process as of July 2026. Price on request.

The opportunity
Obtaining both registrations in one entity required separate AUSTRAC applications, regulatory assessment and a developed AML/CTF framework. The result is an established Australian company combining virtual-asset and independent-remittance permissions in one corporate platform. For an acquirer, that provides a materially stronger starting point than assembling the entity, policies, submissions and registration history from the beginning.
The transaction package includes ASIC corporate extracts and company statements, an AML/CTF policies and procedures manual, compliance reporting, financial statements, tax and BAS records, and periodic bank statements. This developed file allows SKY7 to organise the corporate, regulatory and financial workstreams around one controlled transaction process.
The public listing is anonymised to protect the transaction. SKY7 releases the identifying corporate, registration, compliance and financial records to qualified parties under NDA, coordinates their review and prepares the ownership-transition workplan. The wider permission map is covered in the linked Australia regulator dossier below.
Regulatory status
AUSTRAC registration is the regulatory gateway for businesses providing registrable virtual asset and remittance services in Australia. Holding both registrations reflects two completed permission workstreams, supported by the entity's corporate history, AML/CTF materials and compliance records. The combination creates a versatile base for an operator pursuing both virtual-asset exchange and cross-border remittance activities.
AUSTRAC now uses the terms virtual asset and virtual asset service provider for the permission originally granted under the digital currency exchange framework. SKY7 incorporates the 2026 VASP transition requirements, the acquirer's proposed services and any additional ASIC or APRA perimeter questions into the regulatory handover plan.

Transaction mechanics
The acquisition is structured as a share sale so the established company and its registration history remain together. SKY7 coordinates the corporate documents, ownership and key-person workstreams, stakeholder communications and completion sequence around the incoming operator's business plan.
Following completion, SKY7 prepares the AUSTRAC updates for relevant ownership and key-person changes within the published 14-day period and maps the compliance program to the acquirer's intended services. This turns the regulatory handover into a defined transaction workstream rather than leaving the parties to assemble the process after closing.
